Harriet Educational Group which locates at Bestway building, Tanjong Pagar area provides work and study programs. They put up advertisement in many newspapers. However, please be careful of this school. Their work and study program is not a real one. They are misleading many people to join them. Many people are losing money.

First of all, people need to pay huge amount of money to join them. For example, to study a diploma course in travel, tourism and hospitality with a low pay job, applicants have to pay more than S$19000 to the school. This is ridiculous.

The school promised the applicant minimum basic salary of S$1200. However, some people only get less than S$550 basic salary.

After students pay huge amount of money to them, the school delay the courses. The students thus want to withdrew from them. However, the school only refund 50% of the tuition fee, whereas this contradicts the agreements from CASE. Many students are losing money after they paid huge amount of money to the school.

In fact, this school cheat both Singaporean and foreigners. Most people that were are cheated are Singaporean. So must beaware of this school. The advertisement is to mislead people to pay huge amount of money to them. For example,
1) Guaranteed job and Start right away --- This school has a career consultancy to look for jobs for the students, Most students cannot work right away if the school can get a job for him/her. 'Guarantee job' means guarantee you are cheated. Even though people pay a lot of money to them, in the end this school cannot find a job for them.
2) Work in exciting places - 5 star hotels, banks, resort, airport -- Rubbish. Very very few students can work at these places
3) Guaranteed high monthly income -- Students earn S$500 monthly or $5 per hour. Is this high monthly income?
So we must beware of this school.
