    • Hi Lego fans,

I’m thinking of taking part in the coming Lego Golbal Building Competition. Details are at http://www.crestargroup.com/LEGO_event .

I’m interested in the set that comes with successful entries. It’s the lego golden anniversary set. I’ve check with the lego shop at thomson plaza and they don’t have it. Does any know where I can buy this set?

    • Thanks everyone. I found it at toyRus but I’ve put my application in for the event, which by the way is not just for kids, its a familt event. After all the event fee is the same price as the set itself. This way I get the set plus may get to go to Denmark. Sounds like a great deal to me.

actually, I took a close look when I was there, plus look at all my other photos. All the blocks are standard block, it's just that the designers are so damn creative in mix-and-match.

an example is the fourth photo, which is suppose to be a New Orleans street scene. The fences on the multistory houses is just the Lego cup/chalice.

if folks here are interested, I can post more photos.

      saw that one at Robinsons....

what I really want is either the Star Wars Millenium Falcon - I think just 10cents short of one grand, or the Star Wars Imperial Cruiser - about $600 bucks.
